In college I was elected to hall government with the task of building a website from the ground up. With some creative HTML and CSS running around in my head, I set out to make something unique.
Aiming for something skeuomorphic, I designed the site to look like a desk in a dorm room environment -- something familiar to fellow students.
This was one of the many projects where I got to enjoy slicing up PSD files in Photoshop and turning them into various image formats. This allowed me to experiment with transparency and effects on the web.
